# Releasing

To cut a release, do:
|
|
|
|
```
|
|
$ git changelog --tag <version>
|
|
$ vim package.json # update ".version"
|
|
$ git release <version>
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
Where `<version>` represents a valid [semver](http://semver.org) version number.
|
|
|
|
CircleCI will handle rebuilding `analytics-node.js` and publishing to npm for you.
|
